凯隆世家酒庄

酒庄等级：1855梅多克评级列级酒庄第三级（Troisième grands crus classes）位于在圣埃斯塔菲村的北部，它的悠久历史要追溯到法国罗马时期，当时这里就是一处身世显赫的贵族酒庄。凯隆这个名字最初源于拉丁文中的 Calonis，意思是指那些用于在梅多克地区内河流域穿梭往来、运送木材的小船。好几个世纪以来，这个酒庄的名字一直都叫“de Calones”，直到18世纪才开始改名为“圣埃斯塔菲凯隆”。凯隆世家恐怕应该算是梅多克区种植葡萄的鼻祖，有记录记载，早在13世纪这里就开始缴纳葡萄酒生产税了。跟其他众多的葡萄酒庄一样，凯隆世家历史上也是几经易主，最早是属于Gombaud家族，后来又成为梅多克区的名庄d`Albrets的一部份。目前凯隆世家拥有50公顷葡萄园，葡萄的种植比例为50%赤霞珠，25%梅洛，25%品丽珠，葡萄植株平均树龄为38年。正牌所有年份均在法国橡木桶陈酿24至26个月。凯隆世家的酒质具有圣埃斯塔菲产区的普遍特点：强劲、集中的单宁，紧密、层次感丰富的结构，需要陈年20年以上才到达其顶峰。

Description ( the following).

(...)acquired the field at the eighteenth century and the castle became château Calon-Ségur. The marquis was also owner of château Lafite and château Latour. He said: "I do my wine at Lafite and Latour, but my heart is at Calon." A heart was symbolized on the label of the wine, in order to do homage to the marquis. The 60 hectares of this area produce a powerful and fragrant wine, which was ranked “third cru classé” in 1855. Thanks to the selflessness of its current owner, Denise Capbern-Gasqueton, the wines of château Calon Segur often compete with the best ones. There is also a second wine, the Marquis de Calon.
