黑教皇堡

(Château Pape Clément)是在格拉芙地区少有的能在法国大革命之后留存下来的庄园，在1953年格拉芙法定次产区分级中，教皇堡被列为列级庄园之一。该庄园在1306年建园前由一位波尔多大主教Bertrand de Goth买下并作为一个来往城市的乡间驿站，但随着主教对葡萄酒的热情增加，他随后把这块地改造成一座葡萄园，到了1306年，Bertrand de Goth青云直上的当上了罗马教皇，史称克莱蒙教皇五世(Pape Clément V)，于是酒庄就以此命名。在这几个世纪里，黑教皇堡不断在酿酒领域励精图治，改革创新，以其能够和新教皇堡(Châteauneuf-du-Pape)并驾齐驱。

(...) On 8 June 1937, most of the area was destroyed by a hail storm. In 1939, Paul Montagne bought the area and decided to make every effort to restore the château Pape Clement to its old reputation. Today, his descendants, Paul and Leo Montagne, are leading the field. The château is now producing a Great red wine, “grand cru classé” of Graves in 1953, a white wine of Graves, a second wine, called “le Clémentin du château Pape Clément”, and a third wine, called “le Prélat du château Pape Clément”. These wines offer a unique smooth to those who will be able to wait few years…
